Deliveries and Returns

Delivery

The Seller remains the exclusive owner of the products ordered on www.houzbed.fr until full payment has been received, including any shipping costs.

Packages leave the Seller's warehouses within 24 to 48 hours excluding Saturdays, Sundays and French public holidays, and unless otherwise indicated by email when the order is placed.

The Customer can choose between several delivery methods.

Delivery times do not depend on the Seller and are indicated in the general delivery conditions of the carriers chosen by the Customer.

Shipping costs depend on the weight of your package and are accepted upon order validation.

Beyond 30kg, our team will contact you to determine the actual amount of shipping costs.

Packages are delivered to the address provided by the Customer when ordering. It is therefore the Customer's responsibility to check that this address does not contain any errors. The Seller cannot be held liable if the address provided by the Customer is incorrect, thus preventing or delaying delivery.

Delivery is constituted by the transfer to the Customer of physical possession or control of the Product. The Products ordered will be delivered only once.

The Seller undertakes to make its best efforts to ship the products ordered by the Customer within the timeframes specified above (ship = departure of the package from the seller's warehouses). However, the Seller is not responsible for any hazards experienced by the carrier and impacting the delivery times indicated by the carrier.

Upon delivery, it is the Customer's responsibility to check that the Products delivered comply with their order and that the package is sealed and undamaged. If this is not the case, the Customer must indicate this on the delivery slip or send an email to contact@houzbed.fr

It is the Customer's responsibility to track the shipment of their package until it is received and to inquire about the delivery conditions of the chosen carrier. In the event of non-receipt of the order, the Customer must contact the carrier to obtain information on the delivery. If the carrier cannot provide a trace of the package via its tracking service, the Customer must send an email to the Seller at contact@houzbed.fr . The Seller then undertakes to open a claim file with the carrier. In the event of proven loss or damage during transport, the Seller will take the necessary measures, in accordance with current legislation, to compensate or replace the order.

The Customer chooses the shipping method and carrier that suits them, and is responsible for taking the necessary steps to receive their package within the timeframe specified by the carrier. The delivery rates indicated to the Customer at the time of purchase only include one shipment. If the package is returned to us due to the Customer not collecting it, the second shipment will be re-invoiced.

The Customer undertakes to read the General Terms and Conditions of Sale then in force before accepting them and to confirm the terms and conditions and any delivery and withdrawal fees prior to payment of their order. Confirmation of the order entails acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions and forms the contract.

The information provided by the Customer when placing the order (including name, email and delivery address) is binding on the Customer. Thus, the Seller cannot be held liable in any way in the event that an error when placing the order prevents or delays delivery/delivery.

The right of withdrawal, exchange and refund

If a delivered Product does not fully satisfy the Customer, the latter may return it to the Seller within thirty (30) days from the date of receipt of the order. The Customer must send an email to the address contact@houzbed.fr.

Customized products (requests for non-catalog sizes, embroidery, etc.) cannot be returned or exchanged. The customer must check their order before confirming it.

The Customer will specify in their email the order number, their contact details and the reason for the return. The Seller will send the return procedure to the Customer by email.

Returns must be made in their original condition and complete (packaging, accessories, instructions, etc.) allowing them to be resold as new. Damaged, soiled, incomplete, washed, or used products will not be accepted.

After receiving the returned product, the Seller will examine its condition and confirm whether or not the return has been accepted. In the event of an accepted return, the product will be refunded provided that it is returned in its original condition, accompanied by its packaging and accessories. In the event of a right of withdrawal, the return costs will remain the responsibility of the Customer, unless otherwise stated in these General Terms and Conditions.
In the event of a refused return (product not in its original condition or outside the legal deadline), the product will be returned to the Customer, at their expense, and no refund will be made.

Exchange requests (subject to availability):

If the Customer made a size or color error when ordering, the Customer may contact the Seller to exchange the Product. Returns must be made in their original condition and complete (packaging, accessories, instructions, etc.) allowing them to be resold as new. Damaged, soiled, incomplete, or washed products will not be accepted.

The Customer has thirty (30) days from the date of receipt of the order to request an exchange. The Customer will specify in his email the order number, his contact details and the reason for the return. The Seller will send the return procedure to the Customer by email. If the returned product is compliant (unwashed, undamaged, etc.), the return costs will be covered by the Seller based on the return instructions stipulated in the return procedure sent to the Customer. In the event of refusal, the products will be reshipped to the Customer at his expense.

By accepting these General Conditions of Sale, the Customer expressly acknowledges having been informed of the terms of exchange and withdrawal.
